About Jacques H. Poullard
Founder & Director, Optimal Massage Therapy
Jacques H. Poullard is the founder and director of Optimal Massage Therapy, which offers tailored physical therapy services to both private individuals and corporate clients. With a genuine passion for helping others improve their well-being, Jacques has built his career around offering high-quality massage and sports therapy services.
Background & Training
Jacques began his journey in 2004 after qualifying from the London School of Remedial & Sports Massage. He later pursued further studies at the University of East London (UEL) in Sports Science & Nutrition, with a focus on weight management and sports nutrition. His curiosity and commitment to continuous learning also led him to train in Traditional Thai Yoga Massage and Reflexology at the Old Medicine Hospital in Chiang Mai, Thailand.
Experience
Throughout his career, Jacques has had the privilege of working at several important events and with some world-class athletes, including:
- Providing sports massage therapy at the IAAF World Athletic Championships 2017
- Selected as a massage therapist for athletes at both the Rio 2016 and London 2012 Olympic Games
- Supporting Roger Federer’s team and family during Wimbledon
- Offering therapy at the International Beach Volleyball, Horse Guard Parade 2011 Olympic test event

During the London 2012 Olympic Games, Jacques was based at the Wimbledon All England Club, and during the Paralympic Games, he worked at the Poly Clinic in the Olympic Village.
Teaching & Mentorship
Jacques also enjoys giving back to the massage therapy community. He serves as a Judge and Teacher at international professional massage competitions.
